Maxx was originally mechanicaly rebuilt by John Mackesy but the body was in need of much loving work .

At this time we were preparing for the 04 outback trip in our other car Scruffy so Maxx was put aside. 3 days into the trip in Scruffy it spat the dummy so drove home and after quick check and a few repairs by Link we took off in maxx to complete the outback trip (with out any further problems). )

On our return we began the long process of redoing the body to better than new condition and a new hood and front seats. Back seat still to be done.

We have enjoyed many trips in Maxx now and the best was 2006 muster at Sheparton. WOW so many lovely Mokes.
