The wife used to have a Moke but we sold it because we had a ruggie on the way and it wasn't kid suitable. Never heard the end of it so I went out and located about 20, bought 6 off one bloke.
The moke was already part painted, good job but they forgot the engine bay and motor. Resprayed that, tidied up the wiring, master cylinders and a bit of spit and polish, all done. New rubber flares, rear and front bars, reverse light, done. Windscreen has been lowered because the previous owner thought it would look good.
The best trip in moke was when we were getting it registered
The back wheel fell off once on the old moke, whilst it was being driven across a paddock, at night, whilst holding onto a glass of rum. Didn't spill a drop.
The longest trip was probably when we took it to Shepp in 06 for the Moke muster.
I can guarantee, the most embarrassing moment in our Moke hasn't happened yet.
The main reason I will never get rid of my Moke is because...... I will never hear the end of it ..... again...... ever.
I like to drive anywhere in my Moke. Just quietly, between you and I, the wife thinks I am having an affair with the moke.
